This ongoing series examines how light interacts with the urban landscape and alters the perception of its materiality. The presence of light does not automatically create clarity or enhance perception, despite the fact that illumination is often equated with knowledge or understanding. The boundaries between subject and object and between closeness and distance are confused in these images due to the overexposure of light. These images attempt to disrupt the boundary between recognition of objects/phenomena and a state of disorientation – in order to examine where this boundary lies.
